Free Vaccines For Life Program

What is it?
Free Vaccines For Life is a program offered by Homestead Veterinary Clinic. After enrolling, your pet will get our core vaccines for free and our other recommended vaccines at a deep discount. This program lasts as long as you have your pet and as long as your pet gets an annual Wellness Care Visit at Homestead Veterinary Clinic.

Why?
Vaccinations are just one part of maintaining the health of your pet. We want to help our clients afford the other parts that are important too. Regular Wellness Care Visits, annual dental cleaning and treatments, and routine laboratory work are key to early disease detection.

How much can I save?
The Free Vaccines For Life enrollment fee for a dog is $115. This covers rabies, distemper/parvo/lepto combinations and leptospirosis boosters at no charge. Lyme, bordetella (kennel cough) and any special order vaccines are 50% off of our regular price for enrolled patients.  Example:

Under most circumstances, your enrollment in Free Vaccines For Life will pay for itself within two visits.

What’s the catch?
In order to stay enrolled in Free Vaccines For Life, your pet must be seen for an annual Wellness Care Visit in a timely manner. If your pet is more than one calendar month late for the Wellness Care Visit, you are no longer enrolled. Sick visits do not count as a Wellness Exam. If more than 13 months have passed since the last Wellness Care Visit, vaccines will be charged at full price or the pet may be enrolled again and the enrollment fee paid again. The enrollment fee is subject to change and we cannot guarantee that we will offer the program in the future

Other fine points:
The enrollment fee is non-refundable and not transferable. If your pet dies or is lost, it cannot be transferred to a new pet. Likewise, if you rehome your pet, it is not transferable to the new owner.

Wellness visits at any other veterinary clinic do not fulfill the requirement to stay enrolled in Free Vaccines For Life.

Why doesn’t Free Vaccines For Life include Lyme vaccine?
We live in an area where deer ticks and Lyme disease are common. We recommend Lyme vaccine for all dogs in our area. However, Lyme disease exposure is dependent substantially on lifestyle. Owners with dogs that are mainly indoors, do not travel to where ticks are, and use topical tick medications, may elect not to have their dog vaccinated for Lyme disease. We do not want to discourage pets who are at risk from being vaccinated, so we are offering the vaccine at a deep discount, 50% off.

What about Free Vaccines For Life for Cats?
We also offer the program for cats. The cost is $70 and includes the distemper combination vaccine and rabies vaccine. Feline leukemia vaccine is offered at a 50% discount. Otherwise the program is just the same as for dogs.

Are there any other benefits to enrolling in Free Vaccines For Life?
Yes!
We offer other discounts including 10% off your pet’s spay or neuter surgery and 10% off of dental cleaning! That’s like dental health month all year long.

We hope you can take advantage of the substantial savings available through Free Vaccines For Life. It’s our way to better help you help your pet.
